The Tapestry of Renfrewshire

I was invited to a gathering for the launch of 'The Tapestry of Renfrewshire'. This is part of the preparation for the Paisley bid for the UK City of Culture 2021. The initial plan is for 10 panels designed by Andrew Crummie who designed The Great Tapestry of Scotland, The Diaspora & The Battle of Prestonpans Tapestries. The extra shows some of the teardrop embroideries which will accompany the final piece - they have been stitched by local people of all ages. 
There will be a display at The Stitching & Sewing Show at the SECC Thursday 2nd - Sunday 5th March
