Reunion

Our regular bi-monthly meetup of friends from our last church was extra special today.

 Apart from the regular attendees, we invited all members who sang with our organist and choirmaster's choir during his 37 years with us, in memory of the tenth anniversary of his death.  Thirteen of us assembled to sing four pieces we all knew well; eight of us are actually members of Octave, which was formed to sing the music that we had learned and performed during those years.

Many photographs were on display, showing how young and beautiful we all were, the trips we enjoyed with our children and the antics we got up to in our concerts, besides greetings from members who could not attend, from all parts of the UK and even the USA. 

In truth, we were like one big family and it was great to meet old friends and celebrate that today.
