Ladies Night

... at China Grill as the Westin - way over on the other side of town!

It's been a full on day! Dropped G at work for 9; then called in at a garage to look at the Peugeot's tyres. I think they need balancing. Then over to Jumeirah Lakes Towers for a 10am meeting with a web developer. Then over to the other side of town for another iron infusion. That took over two hours. Back again to the garage, this time to actually get the wheels balanced except the wait was too long, so I sat it out at the Beach whilst waiting to pick G up again!

Got home to enough time for a cup of tea and a little nap before heading out to the other side of town (again), to meet up with this lovely group of ex-colleagues, now friends. Natasha treated us to the meal which was a complete surprise, and Shabnam bought us coffee!

It's been quite a day.

And on the home front, the landlord's rep is finally getting the building in ship-shape. I think there's going to be an inspection. Works for me is all I can say. The oil paint being used in the corridors takes some getting used to though (i.e. the smell).
