George and Zelda

As is usual when the sun comes out I went off to the park this lunchtime.

Lovely to see George looking so well - about a fortnight or so ago he had been shot through the head with a crossbow and at the time it was not known if he'd survive.  As it turns out his eye amazingly wasn't damaged (the bolt appeared to have gone through his left eye) and he was returned to the lake roughly a week later to Zelda's delight.

Two people have been arrested - a 48 year old man and a 15 year old boy - it remains to see who will be charged and what the outcome will be.

Meanwhile lots of us are delighted to see him back on the lake :)
