Tryfan
Today was an incredible day – we walked up Tryfan, Glyder Fach and Glyder Fawr. I say walked, but it was quite heavily scrambling! There was lots of ice which made things a bit scarier, and some of the sections were very intense. We really should have had an ice axe and crampons, but we did everything slowly and managed to stay safe. I find going downhill far more difficult than up, so slid down most of it on my bum to prevent falling over and down the mountain.
The views were fantastic, and it really was a great day out with Rory! We collapsed as soon as we got back to the hostel and went straight to bed after making tea and having a shower.
