Trying to help

Pixie on Hilda's bed trying to get her attention - unfortunately Hilda has had a stroke and is totally unresponsive. I have spent most of the last 2 days holding her hand and talking to her even though there is no indication that she knows I am there. I took in Pixie today and she was so gentle, nuzzling and licking Hilda's hand before lying with her head alongside it. I will continue to sit with her as long as necessary.
