The restaurant in what passes for a department store here, and the source of many delicious and inexpensive meals. It's usually more or less packed out, so I don't know why it was empty today; maybe the sudden appearance of sun (it was 30 deg briefly on the terrace today) chased everyone out of doors. I made the most of the temperature by doing lots of washing and having a cheeky little read in a chair outside before heading off to do the shopping. It won't last.
