Ceramic Box Before Painting and Firing
At Paula Downing ceramic workshop today. I have been making for the past few weeks a ceramic box. I have now got it to the stage that the next time I go I will paint it. This will be the week after next, as Paul is away. Then it will be fired.
After that I will put some glaze on it and it will be fired again at a high temperature. All these process take time, but that is the thing about ceramics you have to go at its pace.
It is only 2 hours a week, which I wish it was longer as I really enjoy it, it is so relaxing and they are a very friendly lot of people.
There are images of all the four sided and the inside of the box here
