But not before the heavens opened and dropped a large amount of rain in Lancashire at least.

I was meant to be working outdoors today, but that plan was amended shortly after 8.30. Hurrah!

Instead I was warm and dry and working in the old Coach House, built circa 1800 and still doing a very good job at keeping the wind and rain out.

This particular stretch of the Leeds Liverpool canal was opened almost at the same as the Coach House was built.

Fascinating stuff!
Well, it is to me!
But then again I'm easily fascinated... always have been! : - )
