A superhero's seat

I've no idea how many times I've walked past this seat but its a lot.  However, I've never noticed the inscription before, its great; Paul must have been a lovely bloke.

Photographically, I really like how solid and permanent the seat looks, particularly in the light of the inscription it bears.
