The Tulips

I really should have been working but instead I was trying to get creative with a picture of a tulip. I would normally just wander the streets or countryside with my camera snapping away at what might catch my eye, but today I had a go at being artistic with my photography. It was actually quite tricky to position everything to get a clean looking shot free of unwanted reflections and shadows from the workplace. My studio space was a couple of sheets of aluminium, the back wall propped up with boxes and the shadow was cast with my phones torch. I think it turned out okay and only took a couple of hours
