Tractor Wednesday!
Yesterday I failed in my quest to get a blip posted.
So I am a day behind and today is going to be Tractor Wednesday!
Yesterday was Mr Tbays 32nd birthday and we hosted a dinner party for 12. As a result I was rather busy . Then just before everyone was due to arrive Pip and Lula decided to have a rather nasty fight. No idea what produced this activity but I was left with two wounded little soliders. Pip couldn't put a front leg to the ground and Lula couldn't put a back leg to the ground. Grrrrrrrrr. After a quiet night and much love Pip had improved but Lula still couldn't put foot to ground. So off to the vet we went. Result was a broken foot in two places. Oh joy!!
Lula now has a splint on her foot, a lot of drugs onboard and a referral in the process. Mr Tbay not a happy bunny as bill is building nicely!! She is home now feeling very sorry for herself. Much love and attention is being lavished upon her.
Farming - Two on compost hauling.
Now to the tractor! A nice little model which Mr Tbay ordered on the interenet. It is an unusual model of a Continental Massey Ferguson 65. This would have been built in the USA and was a 4 cylinder gasoline engine with a horse power of drawbar 33 and PTO 41 HP. A reasonably popular model which was followed by the 165 range. Production from late 50's to early 60's.
