Thankfully amused

Today started with an exhausted kind of rush to work which continued through the day. A mountain of tasks to puzzle over and start ticking off. Then a panicked rush to get home out of the bitter cold because of course I got the coat to top ratio wrong this morning in my haste to get out the door. Getting dinner sorted and putting a wash on seemed like a last slog that couldn't possibly be achieved. BUT then this little guy had such excitement at said washing machine that everything felt good again. Instantly I had no choice but to be in a good mood. Never get tired of being reminded to stop and just enjoy things for what they are. The furry ones are good at doing that to you.
