Over and under

Went out this afternoon to do a recce for a Ramblers walk I'm due to lead in a couple of weeks' time. It served its purpose as a couple of the paths I explored led to dead ends or didn't link up with the route I had originally intended.

The walk around Hogganfield and Frankfield Lochs wasn't the most scenic I've ever done, but did produce this rather ethereal picture of the latter as the afternoon turned towards early evening. There was even a short but pleasant sunset over Hogganfield Loch at the walk's end (see extra picture).
