Construction Workers

Just when I thought Zihuatanejo had joined with the rest of the world by instituting modern construction techniques, I came across this site and saw a human bucket brigade transporting sand down the hillside. Two weeks ago I had observed a concrete pumper truck in this exact spot laying concrete on the pool just beyond that brick wall in the background. Today, this group of hearty workers were humping full buckets to a concrete mixing spot (which they were also doing by hand) just down the hill. One week progress, the next week old school - you just never know which you will find in this evolving community.
