Pile 'O Peppers

Peppers are ubiquitous throughout Mexico, especially in the local markets. I have many a pepper photo and usually resist posting them here. Today, however, I couldn't resist this colorful shot of various peppers in our local “campasiño” market. It seems the vendor has mixed sweet peppers with spicy ones all on display in the same basket. There is a good reason mostly locals shop this particular market, they know what they are buying and would never pick up a habanero thinking it is a sweet tasting orange one.
