Of dung beetles and men

Honestly, anyone who thinks we're different from animals needs their head examined. I mean, what alien landing on the planet who saw us carefully rolling up straw and leaving it scattered round the fields wouldn't see the similarity with dung beetles?

Anyway, I leave you with that thought, but enough of the contentious..

At the moment I'm living my life by the BBC Weather site and bending working life to fit with when will have sun. Here's today's bit! More, they say, tomorrow.

In other news: I've cooked chili con carne for supper; the Paralympic Opening Ceremony is tonight; we're over midweek. Something's got to be right. Plus I've started writing holiday lists - hooray!!
