Dried grasses and seedheads abound at the moment, especially along the walking/cycling track near the local sandspit in Motueka, NZ

 Today’s moon rise was at the early time of 6.19pm which is why it is so high in the sky. Behind me, the sun has sunk behind a bank of clouds as it descends towards sunset. 

If you have the time, it really looks best against the dark background of large.
