Thaipusan

Karen's here and we went on a thaipusan guided tour. We saw the piercing of the cheeks and tongues, the attaching of the hooks to their backs, blessings by holy water and the milk offering at the temple. A good day.

The hooks on the backs are pulled back by another person holding the ropes. It looks painful. Then they dance at various music stalls along the 6km walk.
