Splash!

I was going to blip the felt chain, but we went down to Portobello for a hike along the prom, it was quite exciting with the tide well in and waves thumping on the beach.

Then we met this young family watching the sea splashing up against the sea wall - not from a safe, dry, distance but as close as they could get, despite the freezing wind that felt as though it had arrived directly from the Arctic. Such youthful resilience, I do hope they hurried home for a happy, hot bath.
