Stephen Fearing

Tonight Stephen Fearing came to town. Oh, what a magical night it was! I've been a fan since my early 20s and he's never failed to delight. He is such a talented songwriter, guitar player and is blessed with a rich baritone voice. I don't understand why he's not more well known outside of his native Canada. 

We had a lovely chat at the break and he kindly posed for this portrait (and the selfie in extras). After the break he said he had a song for the fellow Canadians, looked directly at me and played my favourite song. I hadn't even mentioned it. It was like he just knew I needed to hear it. Needless to say it left me feeling deliciously homesick.
