Look around you

I went to camera club last night . It's not a competitive serious club like some, but we talked about Still Life and about not just falling back on flowers and fruit on a dull day. Our leader suggested we look around the house and charity shops to find interesting bits and bobs to photograph, then try different ways of lighting them.
( I was hoping to get rid of junk and clutter not acquire more! )
Anyway my eyes lit upon this ancient book which was among my Dad's stuff. It's falling to pieces and not of any value I'm sure, but I rather liked the metal corner embellishments. Bit of a rush job I'm afraid as I had a rather busy day again.
