Sunshine in the gloom

A very cold walk to work and it was trying to snow!

I think Thursday is my favourite day. We have some real "characters" amongst  the members, they are very good singers (we sing every day) and they all join in.

Our volunteer gardeners planted some minuture daffodil bulbs just outside the French doors and they remind us that Spring will come.

Both my parents died in Spring and I am grateful for that. Everything around was coming alive and even though you think it is the end of the world you know that life continues. 

We had a new lady try us out. Her mother in law dropped her off and collected her. That was a first for all of us!

Today was fun!
