Sparrow Hawk
I've been noticing that the Sparrow Hawk is back, and he's been scouring the garden on and off all day; I think he's a juvenile born last year as he doesn't look very big. I'm torn between not wanting him to catch any of the tiny birds that come into the garden and at the same time I know he has to kill to live. He was so absorbed in what he was doing that he wasn't concerned that I kept getting closer to him - it's been very cold and I think he's needing food.
Thank you for visiting my journal and for the amazing response to yesterday's blip. I hadn't expected all that rich colour when I went out and it was a real bonus - I really only went looking for a curved path to blip.
