A cold afternoon

Utter chaos at work today. One resident on his deathbed sadly. Very short staffed. Dishwasher broken (again).
I made a yummy Apple sponge for desert and just kept going.
Pepper and I walked up to the castle at lunchtime, there was a freezing wind and snow on the distant fells.
Poor Sophie has moved house today, to escape the wet from next door. Seems to have gone ok though, and she says it is much warmer and also the new house is in a quieter location away from the road, so maybe it's for the best!
