An angel at my shoulder

Today's theme: Art

This is a painting that I have in my living room. I have no idea who the artist is.
Story behind this, a few years ago, I was in a coffee shop called Books and Beans (the same coffee shop I photographed here ) having a catch up hot chocolate and fancy piece with my friend Jenny. I spent quite a time looking at this painting that was on the wall behind her til eventually she asked me what on earth I was looking at!

I really liked this painting.
I had also very recently redecorated my living room and knew the colours would work well.
So I used my birthday money to buy it.

I put it up whilst the kids were at school. My daughter came home from school and said that there was no way she could take her friends into the house, if there was a naked woman on the wall :D

Not to everyone's taste but I like it and that's the main thing.

I could have taken a photo of my Salvador Dali picture (my favourite picture called The Rose, I first saw it in Tate Gallery and now have a framed print of it) but it is too late in the day to get good light to photograph it well.

I could also have taken a photograph of the other painting in my living room that is an etching of trees that my husband did when he was still at school, it has been framed and hung in our living room for years.
