At the Lake Tonight....

It was a nice night for a walk around the lake and reserve are at the Taylor Dam. The lake is full of weed just below the surface at the moment. There are tracks through the weeds where the ducks and swans and other bird life have wandered. The Taylor Dam Reserve will be closed to the public all next week. The closure will give Council staff and engineers a chance to check out any signs of damage to the structure of the Dam from last November's Kaikoura earthquake.
