. . . except the tiles are on the wall. These fascinating 'tiles' are the wall cladding for what I think is a new carpark building in the Christchurch CBD. My mind did a loop about how they'll be kept clean! Or not .....

And TrudeandNova got yesterday's abstract correct. It's a stone wall, alongside steps going up the side of the steps I use going up and down Clifton Tce. I've no idea why that hole is there - and someone has stuck a little piece of rubbish in it.
