Dive, dive, dive
A Tufted Duck makes a splash in Figgate Pond. Quite busy there this afternoon with a Moorhen up a tree and a Heron in the burn at the far end of the Park. As well as the usual Moorhens in more conventional locations along with Mallards, Goosanders, Mute Swans and Canada Geese. Briefly glimpsed a Dipper down by the Burn and then even more briefly saw a Kingfisher flying low across the pond from the wooden walkway towards the island, although I couldn't see where it landed. And there were about fifty Redwing on the grass close to the bird tables.
