Swan

I think I've finally got over my long shifts at the beginning of the week and caught up on my sleep. I've had a very welcome rest day today but I'm working tomorrow. Earlston RFC are playing at Liberton but at least I don't have to start until quarter past eleven.

I had an appointment in Gala this morning but left the house early to make a stop at Gunknowe Loch. This swan was out of the water again and being very friendly. I'm wondering if it is mating season just now as I've never seen so many of them venturing up onto the banks and surrounding area.
