Ratzapper

We need this little genius desperately where we stay! It is the most successful equipment we?ve ever bought!

Tried mousetraps, rattraps, couldn't use poison because of the little dogs in the house, .......desperate!! C browsed the Internet, and, whallahhh!!! An American Company has the solution, Ratzapper! Very expensive though, but like I said, we were desperate!

What a charm!!

It uses four torch batteries, you put a nice piece of cheese, or the bait you get with the purchase, something like little dog pellets, against the front wall of the chamber, the rat goes in to fetch the food, the metal floor of the chamber shocks him, and there you are! No rat plague anymore!

We ordered two more, but, needless to say, they were shipped in America beginning of November, can be traced until they reached South Africa, but nowhere to be found now! Arrrgggghhhhh!!

Must tell you about the first rat we caught!

I was reading in bed one night, saw something BIG running across by bedroom floor, thought it was (the now late) Fielies, but goodness me, it was a huge rat!

R snr set the Ratzapper the next night. At about 23:30 we heard a very soft siren, peeped into the pantry and saw the red warning light flashing! A BIG fat rat lying inside the zapper, shocked to death, instantly and without any suffering! Such a clean and safe way of controlling pests!
