Moonlit Walk

Our first day with visitors is over. We picked them up from the airport at midnight and eventually went to bed around 3 o'clock. After a late breakfast we were out for a walk in the sun, then we were back home and sledging.
As it got dark the full moon came up and a while later we wrapped up warmly (-16°C) and went out for a walk in the moonlight.
It wasn't the proverbial "as bright as daylight" but it wasn't so far off!
It is so lovely when the family come to visit, especially when they really appreciate the beauty of our world.
