Fresh green beans!

I bought these lovely looking beans this morning, at our local Spanish supermarket.......nothing unusual there!

However, instead of being to buy the vegetables 'loose'......
one hand full or two...whatever amount we needed for today......they were for sale, only in 500gram packs......
And ......these beans were grown in Morocco.

I don't recall having previously bought imported beans.....living in Mediterranean Spain....we always eat 'home grown'
...this is a clear result of the storms, heavy rain and strong winds that we experienced a couple of weeks ago....impacting on the agricultural sector.
