So Long, Farewell

It was our last day in the city office today, I've worked there for 13 years, less a wee detour for 18 months. It is a building that has grown into its surroundings and been expanded over the years but its future is less clear... sold off and converted into something else. Plans are being agreed with the council to increase its value, but the local residents are not happy as there is a park to its rear.

We're moving to the outskirts of town, the wrong side, further away, so I'll expect to WFH more. We're not looking forward to the lack of coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and places to blip! But there is a satellite office in Princes Street which we plan to use once a week to all meet up... there are not enough desks for the whole team at the new office!

So not really looking forward to it.... but work's work an' all that!
