We can do it.
We met a young British couple on our way to Koh Ngai, Nathan and Marie, who joined us for a day today snorkelling as well as a trip to Emerald Cave on Koh Mook. The first part wasn't too bad and the second consisted of a swim through an eighty metre dark and low-roofed tunnel which opened out into a small beach surrounded by limestone cliffs, and was once the home for pirates' loot. The swim wasn't easy as the rules say that a life jacket must be worn, but all this was made up for by the sheer majesty and beauty of what is a hole in the ground, very deep and covered in tropical vegetation of all types.
The Chinese however have a different approach, forming a long snake in the water then proceeding towards the mouth of the tunnel, chanting 'We can do it. We can do this' as they bravely wend their way along, as the majority cannot swim.
My additional shot is of a Gorgonia found on the reef just off our beach.
