It's a wonderful thing

.... when you realise an ambition.  This is a dainty swallowtail butterfly (Papilio anactus)  - they usually fly at around 10 feet, and they even take nectar on the wing.

It's been an ambition for ages to get a decent image, and today - I did it :)))

I actually went into the Belair NP to try and get an image of a native hyacinth orchid, but I think I've left it a bit late in the season.  Anyway there's always tomorrow; because there's no way I wouldn't have blipped this today.
