Fishing for supper

We spent the afternoon on this boat belonging to friends of C and G. Several fishing grounds were tried in the Kenmare River North of the Beara peninsula but in total we only landed 12 mackerel and 2 Pollock. However the trip to the pub proved fruitful, netting 6 toasted sandwiches with coffees and Murphys. A calm journey back with the sun low over the water, saw threatening rain clouds thankfully staying away. With the catch distributed, supper and breakfast would not be a problem.
