Stone Mason Apprentice

As part of the David Holgate exhibition that continues in the Cathedral, apprentices were doing a demonstration in the Cathedral cloisters. The extra's : 1,the group 2, The Master, aways referred to as that. The hats are a Guild signature. Notice the symbol on the hat.
In spite of freezing cold they were jolly, welcoming and happy to have me taking photo's. I enjoyed the chat.
