Training in the Snow

We had a slow morning with coffee for me and chew treats for the boys.

It was nearly 11 am, when we braved the cold and went out for a training session.

We went to the training field in the woods. The local dog school was there too, but the trainer doesn't mind if I use a corner of the field for my own training and all the dogs coming for her classes are good distractions for my boys and give me a chance to reward for ignoring the other dogs and stay focused on me.

Especially Hero and Biscuit had challenging training as they had their training during the dog school's break and lots of dogs were coming and going and they passed us on just a few meters distance.

This is Gollum getting his ball as a reward for good work. If you look closely, then you can see the dog school people behind him closer to the yellow and red buildings. They look far away in the picture, but in reality. they are only about 15 meters away.

After our training, we went for a lovely walk in the woods. It is a beautiful sunny day and we really enjoyed it.

Me met a friend, who has Belgian Shepherds and Gollum got to play with 2 young Groenendael girls.

Home now and in need of more coffee, to warm my hands on! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Happy weekend
