Grey Heron

We had snow today - not much, just a dusting - it was bitterly cold in the park. A swan flew over while I was waiting for the heron to catch something - see my extra photo.

It was not much better in our home - the boiler has ceased to be! Have you ever tried to get hold of a boiler company at a weekend? However, some wonderful friends have rallied round us with heaters and invitations into their homes - so kind and much appreciated. Mum and I are now snug in the lounge which is being efficiently warmed with a plug in radiator.

I am cat sitting for Lulu, our neighbours'  kitty, while they are away in Italy skiing. Lucky Lulu - she is languishing in a four bedroom house with under floor heating! ((:
