Sgwarnog: In the Field

Gold

I had a quiet one to one day with 12yo; popped into town and back. 12yo returned with a book and a possible affection for Warhammer courtesy of the friendly guys at Games Workshop. I contemplate a possible near future assisting in the painting and assembly of small models and wielding retractable tape measures.

Returning from dropping 12yo, and scratching around for a semi-respectable blip, I'm back at the Malt Shovel's Gold Cup Ale window.

Hey's Gold Cup Ale was a famous Bradford brew until Hey's were bought out by Webster's in 1966, although last year the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway produced a heritage beer, Hey's Gold, to mark the 50th year of its passing.

All of which is making me rather thirsty.  Cheers.
