Oh so cold!

When I woke up this morning there was snow!, but by the time I got up it had all but gone! 
I set out for Steyning to pick up an Ebay purchase, and on the way home I stopped at Upper Beeding to photograph the downs. It was freezing! ( the car said zero1) and as I stood there taking this shot it was snowing in the wind. 
The sheep seemed quite Ok with the freezing weather, and only looked up briefly as I took their picture (see extra), I liked this shot though as the variety of Lichen adorning the concrete fence post was qute amazing.
Much as I love the beautiful, muted winter colours I could really do with spring to arrive soon.....Please!
