Music in the park

I'm very behind with uploading blips. Again. This week seems to have disappeared in a flash. Mostly I've been researching logistics for the next part of my trip. It's complicated! The advantage of having not pre-organised everything is that I can be flexible and meet up with different friends at times that suit them. The disadvantage is that I'm booking later and it's more difficult to find affordable flights. 

This evening there was a big concert in the park in Christchurch with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra playing a wide variety of music. There were several soloists including a brilliant young violinist who used to go to school with my friend's daughter.
