Bobbing about in the Wind
It was a lovely morning with no wind.... only the ground was moving. I was checking my emails and things started to wobble about. There was a very strong 5.3 earthquake north of Christchurch.
Later this afternoon the Nor-West winds started to really blow. The flowers on this Hydrangea were blowing all over the place, it is a wonder this shot turned out at all. It only started to get really hot after that. It was to reach 28c.
John said he was going out for some bedding plants today. Normally it is just to the garden centre and straight home again. This time I didn't take my camera and when were along the road a bit he said maybe we will go down to New Brighton for a drive before the garden centre. It was great to take a little walk by the sea.. and it was just little as I really can hardly work at all these days.
John was planting the plants when I noticed that Silvester was on the BBQ eating some of the cat grass next to the Hydrangea.
