Natural History Museum
Today,me and my mum and dad went to the Natural History Museum,as you can see on my mum's blip.
We started off the day by going on the train and then the tube. After we got off the tube it led us off to the museum. We went for a meal first at a Thai restaurant which was delicious and spicy!
After we ate our meal we headed off to the museum where we found a huge queue to get in.It looked like we would get in fast but we were about half way there it started to rain heavily and we got soaked. My mum had to buy a tshirt from the gift shop.
It was very busy and over crowded because it was cold outside and no one wanted to go outside! So we went through the fossil exhibits, and then to the Inside Out Animals exhibit. This is a temporary exhibit so we had to pay to get in. As you can see there is a camel.By the first 5 minutes me and my mum were wondering were these animals fake or real, and then we came up to an information board and it said that all of the animals were real and had been plasticised .It was a bit freaky seeing a pregnant goat there with triplets still inside the uterus, and a sheep uterus with a lamb inside. We saw a huge a huge elephant and giraffe, that we were amazed by.When we came out there was a comment table, and we commented "very well done" on the exhibit.
After we went to the human biology section. This had a 22 week baby in the womb (not real,by the way) and the room echoed like someone was talking outside. It was just like we were in the womb. There was lots of puzzles to do and they were quite freaky.
Next was the cocoon experience. This wasn't much of an experience! It was magnificent architecture though.
We went through the mammals exhibit to get to the big staircases. When we got there we saw Mr Charles Darwin and I'm a big fan of him.It wasn't the real him unfortunately, just a statue!
Mum told us to go right to the top of the building to get a blip which was hard because we could see when she was saying "3...2...1!" and we were smiling the whole time which made our smiles seem fake.
After that mum came over and it was my turn to do the photos and I caught a lovely picture of my mum and dad.We were heading off to leave when I saw a model dinosaur. It was a plant eater but it was huge!Next we came home and saw 4D scan pictures of my niece.
What a great day!!!!!
