Orchid
Today has been a mix of sitting reading agenda papers, and exerting myself in moving things around on the deck, and planting the lemon tree. From physical inertia with intense concentration to heavy physical activity and brain almost in neutral. A good mix.
Until the end of the day, and I realised that I had not been out of the apartment all day, and the cameras had not been raised in any way. S suggested that I take a photo of her new orchid, with which she is very pleased. The red and delicacy of the orchid below, acts as a lovely counterpoint to an extract from one of S' poems, presented in solid (occasionally heavy) black and white by Philip Guthrie of Black Fox Press.
