Escape
Woke to horrible wet, windy and cold weather so decided to escape west where the weather map suggested it would be better. It was! Some blue skies and the first snow capped mountains I've seen this winter so far.
Stopped in Callender for coffee and bacon sandwiches in Mhor's bakery and a pootle in the outlet shoe shop, then on to Loch Katrine (of Lady of the Lake fame https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lady_of_the_Lake_(poem) ). There were lots of information points along our 4mile route to read about the famous visitors brought to the area influenced by the poem and interesting to read more when we got home.
Tea and a sit down Then out to Fisk at the Traverse...bit of a strange, wordless play but beautifully staged (extra)
