Red Rocks.

After a mad dash to my friends place last night we had a very relaxed day together. It was a cracker of a day, it was one of those awesome long hot summers day.

We went to Wright's Hill first. It was misty last time I went. This time spectacular. Wow, talk about panoramic views. Very interesting history too.

Then we went for a drive around the Miramar peninsula. We stopped for coffee and ice cream and then lunch. Such a lovely drive and coast.

Then we walked to the red rocks at Owhiro Bay. It was such a lovely summers day I went for a quick dip in the sea on the way back. I forgot about how walking in shorts soaked in seawater is not a great idea. Still worth it. I actually had to slap on alot of suntan lotion. It was a great walk and great company.

What a great day. Very full.
