Dummies Guide - X marks the spot?

Sorry folks, I will get back to some 'proper' photography (as opposed to improper) soon!
I don't usually take photos of the shitty end of sheep (and she does seem in need of a wash) but it just struck me that someone had been a bit liberal with the spray paint, or they were having a laugh - or were bored! The whole flock looks like a giant game of noughts and crosses (or tic-tac-toe for our American friends).
A bit non-Constable wouldn't you say?
