Day Nine: Bluff Knoll, Stirling Range

Day Nine: Bluff Knoll, Stirling Range
The Noongar name for the Stirling Range, Koi Kyenunu-Ruff, which means 'mist moving around the mountains'

Bular Mial is the Noongar name given to Bluff Knoll. It means 'many eyes'.

Bular Mial is important to the traditional beliefs and culture of the Noongar people throughout the South West of W.A. The mountain is well respected and feared as a dangerous and sacred place to the indigenous people.
The Stirling Range belongs to them.

It was very eery  watching the clouds roll over the top of Bluff Knoll, there were plenty of climbers going to the top, we walked a little way in but those clouds didn't look too friendly for my liking, i enjoyed taking plenty of photographs though it was very difficult to chose which one to post.

We had plenty of strong winds today from that Cyclone that has hung around for most of the week, but the worst is over, a lot of roads are now closed due to some sinking from the heavy rain, luckily they are in areas that we have just left or we wouldn't be going any further on our journey for  a day or two, the blue skies are 'almost' back.
Thanks again for all your lovely comments, I've enjoyed sharing this journey with you all.
